All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age to be transported. The individual requesting or arranging for transport certifies that the pet being transported by Global Paws Concierge is at least 8 weeks of age on or before transport pick-up date. The seller and buyer will meet me at the airport at the times specified, and acknowledges pet will be transported via air. No cargo; in-cabin pet only. I must be provided with the name and a picture of the buyer or receiver. Buyer or receiver must provide identification. Buyer or receiver must consent to having their picture taken upon receiving the animal.
All pets transported must be 20 pounds or under. By reserving transportation for your pet, you are certifying that pet meets this requirement. Should the airline refuse transport due to weight being in excess of 20 pounds at the time of travel, there will be no refunds given.
A valid health certificate issued by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is required within 30 days before the scheduled delivery date. The certificate must travel with the pet. Medical records or vaccine records cannot be used as a substitution.
A current rabies vaccination certificate must travel with your pet (for pets over 16 weeks of age).
You will provide a small ziplock bag of pet food for your pet. Please label your food bag with your pet’s name and feeding instructions (amounts and frequency of meals). Your pet will have access to fresh, clean drinking water.
I will not transport any pet that requires a muzzle or other restrictive device. I reserve the right to refuse transport of any pet that displays signs of aggression.
A deposit in the amount of the airline ticket + $220 is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The $220 is applied as a credit towards the final charge. The remaining balance is due in cash at pickup. I charge an hourly rate, so I will give you the best estimated price I can upfront, however the final price will be determined upon time of landing, provided the party picking up the dog is at the airport. My hourly rate begins from the time I pick up the dog, until the time I hand off the dog. My hourly rate applies during delays outside of my control, such as inclement weather, airline delays, etc.
All parties should meet me in the designated area via group correspondence. Curb side service for picking up or dropping off pets is optional. The typical meeting area in the airport is the Baggage Claim area or the TSA Security checkpoint area.
Under some circumstances I may agree to transport the pet by car, from the airport to the buyer/receiver’s location. In this instance, a non refundable deposit in the amount equal to the airline ticket, rental car + $440 will be required at booking. $440 will be credited towards the final charge. Hourly rate will apply from the time I pick up the pet until returning the rental car at the airport. The total fee will be due by Zelle upon my arrival at the airport. I will send you the final charge upon landing which will be determined by estimated number of driving hours and gasoline fill ups that will be incurred. Payment must be made prior to me renting the car at the airport.
Pets must be washed and free of odors prior to pick-up. If odor is present, I have the discretion to deny pup due to airline regulations. You will be charged for the full amount of the estimated transport fee.
All parties involved in the transport process will need to be on time at the airport to drop off or pick up pet. Either party who is more than 15 minutes late after the agreed upon time for the transport will incur a $150 late fee that must be paid BEFORE the pet is received or released.
Scheduling - Pick-up and Delivery. I will give you an estimated time for pickup and delivery. I do not travel standby. At times, there can be unforeseeable circumstances which affect the dates or times given for transport which can include weather, oversold flights, acts of God, etc. Other than a case of neglect on my part, seller and buyer assumes all risks in transporting by air. I am not responsible for existing health issues known or not, nor an act of God. If no person is present at the time of transport and/or the above-described paperwork is not in order at the time of pick-up or delivery, you will be charged the full amount of the estimated transport fee without refund. If you wish to reschedule, I will give you a quote for the new agreed upon date. Any disagreements about the pet arising between seller/buyer/receiver shall be resolved between those parties. Should the buyer/receiver refuse acceptance of the pet, the sole responsibility for payment of my fee rests with the party booking the transport. The booking party agrees to reimburse any and all fees I incur as the result of buyer/receiver not accepting the pet.
